By using ScalarSignal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.
ScalarSignal is a SaaS platform for automated, personalized cold email outreach. We provide: lead research tools, AI-generated email drafts, email sequence scheduling, and a learning loop (ScalarSignal Memory). ScalarSignal is a tool to assist you. You are responsible for the emails sent from your account.
You must not use ScalarSignal to: send spam or bulk impersonal email; contact individuals who have previously unsubscribed or opted out; violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or other applicable email laws; send emails that are false, misleading, or harassing; scrape data in violation of any website's terms of service. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable email laws, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU/UK). ScalarSignal provides compliance tooling (Article 14 notices, suppression lists) but cannot guarantee legal compliance for your specific use case. Consult a lawyer if you have questions.
Free accounts receive 10 lead credits per month. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. 7-day trials are available on Growth and Pro plans. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, no refunds for partial periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
You retain all rights to content you create (emails, lead lists). You grant ScalarSignal a limited license to process your data to provide the service. AI-generated emails are provided “as-is”. You are responsible for reviewing them before sending. We do not claim ownership of generated emails.
ScalarSignal is not liable for: emails that don't get replies; damage to your domain reputation; any legal consequences of your email campaigns; data loss or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, without refund. We will provide 30 days notice for terminations not related to policy violations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
